About Kya
Kya is your customer success agent. We build AI agents that onboard, activate, and expand customer accounts while teams focus on the relationships, turning customer success into an operating system for growth. We're an agent-native company with a high bar for everything, and we believe a job was never meant to be the busywork. It was meant to be the thinking and the building. We're hiring people who want to give that work back to others, and to themselves.
The role
You'll be our first GTM Engineer, and you'll own the technical backbone of how Kya goes to market. Your job is simple to state and hard to do: build the automated systems that turn our go-to-market motion into a machine, so pipeline, conversion, and expansion grow without us growing headcount in lockstep. You'll sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, and product, and you'll do it using the same kind of agents we sell. We expect you to be Customer Zero for Kya, running your own GTM on our platform and feeding what you learn straight back to the team building it.
What you'll do
- Design, ship, and operate end-to-end GTM workflows across the funnel: sourcing, enrichment, scoring, routing, sequencing, follow-up, and lifecycle nurture.
- Build AI agents, on Kya and with LLM APIs, that do real GTM work: account research, CRM updates from call transcripts, personalized outreach at scale, and signal-based prioritization.
- Own the GTM tech stack and the data that flows through it: clean CRM architecture, reliable integrations, correct field mapping, and attribution you can trust.
- Stand up dashboards for pipeline health, conversion, CAC/LTV, and attribution, and keep them honest.
- Be the bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success: design the handoff logic and the systems that route the right account to the right person at the right moment.
- Run Kya on Kya. Use our own product to operate your workflows, then turn every rough edge into product feedback for the founding team.
What we're looking for
- A builder's mindset and a systems thinker. You find manual process genuinely offensive and you'd rather build the machine than run the task.
- 3+ years in RevOps, Growth/GTM Engineering, Marketing Ops, or Sales Ops, with a track record of systems you built and owned, not just maintained.
- Hands-on fluency with the modern GTM stack: a CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), enrichment and orchestration (Clay), automation (n8n/Make/Zapier), and prospecting data (Apollo/ZoomInfo).
- Real comfort wiring LLMs into workflows: prompting, building small agents, and using AI as ongoing infrastructure, not a one-off experiment.
- Commercial literacy. You understand why a motion matters, and you operate independently in a build, ship, iterate loop.
- Genuine excitement about AI agents and about being early at a company building them.
Nice to have
- Experience as an early or founding GTM hire at a Series A/B startup.
- Experience selling to or operating within Customer Success / post-sales teams.
- You've already built things in Clay, n8n, or directly against the Claude/OpenAI APIs that you can show us.
Benefits
- Health & dental insurance
- Lunch & dinner
- In-person energy
- Competitive cash and equity compensation
